11/23/12

60 degrees yesterday, 30 degrees today with 30 mph headwinds and 20 degree wind chill.  Must be late fall steelhead season in Michigan!  Despite the low clear sustained water on the MO we continue to put some great fish in the boat by keying on select areas and patterns.

Pictures don’t do this fish justice.  This awesome 12 lb chrome Buck fought like a acrobatic cruise missile!  By far one of the best we landed this fall!
Very happy to let this one go to grow!   Awesome fish!!!!

This beautiful hen actually struck twice.  We landed her on the second try with the first fly still lodged securely in her upper jaw.
