9/16/12

The Muskegon is running low and clear at 900 CFS with water temps dropping below 70 degrees.  Trout fishing remains strong with olive caddis and fry streamer patterns being the top producers.

A cold front is forecasted to come in this Monday extending through the week bringing with it much needed rain.

The Muskegon Lake Pier Head is seeing heavy fishing pressure in the channel.  It wont be long!  This much needed rain and cooler temperatures should help push fish up the river system.

Peak run dates are still available for Salmon and or Steelhead.  October 15, 16, & 17 still available.  Don’t wait!  Book now before these prime fishing dates are filled up.
