Good Things To Come!

Chris with a early September Muskegon RiverKing Salmon

Here’s Chris with an early September King.  Pictures never do these fish justice with the awesome translucent silver & green colors King Salmon have.

Salmon are currently moving up the river system.  Numbers are growing daily.  Much needed rain in the forecast with cooler nights will push more salmon up stream.  Water levels are low at 1,150 cfs and water temps high hovering at 68 degrees.

Look for things to pick up next week as air temps drop to the 60’s during the day and mid 30’s later this week at night. Colder water and higher flows are what’s needed now as we get closer to the peak salmon run.

The following peak fishing dates are still available for October:  8,11,16,18,25,26,29.
