Is It Spring Yet? (3/23/13)

The Muskegon river near Newaygo, MI is back to  normal flows but is still very COLD!

Steelhead fishing remains fair to good considering the late winter conditions. But, the fish can be lethargic with these maintained 34 degree cold water temps.

Look for another big push of water later this week along with warmer water temps being exactly what’s needed to trigger a big push of spring steelhead & kick start the run.

Conditions will start to change drastically as we transition from Michigans’ winter grip and into  springs best time of the year to catch monster steelhead!

We have peak dates available in April.  Give us a call, book your trip now.
