The king salmon on the Muskegon river this year are running very, very large. I’ve not experienced so many fish so big they don’t move once hooked, they hold their ground. 50 percent of the fish hooked by clients so far feel like hang ups at first. More times than not the clients hand me the rod to free the perspective hang up only to witness the water errupt with an explosion of a very large angry King salmon. If you like hard fighting fishing battles lasting well over 30 minutes, if you like catching fish so strong they can leave your arm sore for days, come fish the Muskegon with us for the “kings of the river.” You will not be disappointed.
