Steelhead Fishing At It’s Best! (4/27/13)

Jeff & his son Blake joined me today for a great day of steelhead fishing on the Muskegon river in Michigan.  Although Jeff holds top honors for the biggest, Blake is not to be out done as they both were into fish all day long!  Jeff  is holding the best of the day.  This “massive”  33″ (18″ belly) 13lb double striped buck smashed a stone fly out of a log jam.  This fish was so big, Jeff had to wear neoprene gloves just to hold the beast!  Great job today guys.  I really enjoyed it.  I look forward to our possible trout fishing trip with dry flies.  P.S….Hope your arms feel better real soon!
