“The Flies Were On Fire!”
Ever have one of those days where everything goes right? Well, this was one of those days. Pat (pictured top) along with Steve were into great fish all day including Pat’s massive 18″ rainbow and his 20″ resident river brown trout not to mention several very nice steelhead all day long. Great job guys! Awesome Day!!
Check out Pat’s massive resident rainbow trout (see the fork in the tail). Awesome rainbow!
Pat with a beautiful 20″ resident Muskegon river brown trout. Great fish!
Fishing conditions continue to get better. As mentioned before, the fall steelhead run is just beginning here on the Muskegon. Recent heavy pushes of rain coupled with extremely mild temps for December has opened the flood gates for more steelhead to migrate up river. Today was the perfect example of how good the fishing is on the Muskegon river right now.
