Here’s Dave (a.k.a Santa Chrome Claus) with a beautiful Muskegon river steelhead.
Water levels are perfect for this time of year. Steelhead numbers are good. Look for water temps to dip below the 40 degree point in the next coming days as this abnormal warm spell begins to fade. These cooler temps will actually improve fishing, as boat pressure will start to diminish.
Winter steelhead trips are now available; $250 for up to two anglers. 4-5 hours during the warmest part of the day. New Years weekday trips are also available for next week. Should be some good steelhead & lake run brown fishing!!
