Muskegon River Trout Fishing (7/21/13)

Great to see a break from the heat spell we’ve been experiencing the past week.  Trout fishing on the Muskegon river was good last night.  It’s amazing to see the difference a change in a consistent weather pattern can make to turn the bite back on.  Cinnamon caddis were key for us today, mainly targeting the edges of fast water where shallow gravel runs meet drop offs.

If you ever wanted to learn to trout fish with dry flies or just want to have access to the best spots on the river you just can’t reach wading, give us a call.  We are running a $200 special from 5:30 to dark.  It’s a great way to get outside and enjoy the Muskegon river in Michigan!
