Spring Steelhead On The Move Up The Muskegon

Bright chrome are on the move.  Here’s long time Fly Fire customer Scott from Valparaiso, IN with his friends Paul and Tony posed with some of the chrome they caught including Tony’s awesome 14lb, 31″ hen pictured below.  Not bad considering this was Tony’s first steelhead ever.  Great job guys!

Love is in the Sring Air on the Muskegon

Steelhead aren’t the only ones looking for love on the Mo this spring.

Water temps are 36 degrees and rising.  Water levels so far look very good for what we need to happen to trigger a large push of fish up the river system.  Watch out for that magic water temp of 42 degrees to kick-start the steelhead run on the Muskegon.
