The Dry Fly Season For Trout Is Here!

George with a really nice brown trout

Here’s George again with a really nice brown trout taken on caddis pattern.

As George would confirm; the dry fly season for trout has begun on the Muskegon.  George hooked several nice trout throughout the day today with several opportunities at some very large rainbow and brown trout with dry flies with one very large trout lost after the initial hook-up.

Sulphurs, caddis, and drake hatches have been very strong.  If you really want to experience the epic drake hatch in full swing on the Muskegon river book a trip now!  You will not be disappointed.  The river is fishing exceptionally well right now with dry flies.
