The Steelhead are coming!

If this was during the Revolutionary War, We’d be yelling “The Steelhead are coming! The Steelhead are coming!”

Because in about a month, the annual migration of Steelhead fish heading up the river to spawn will be untamed on the Muskegon River in Michigan. March, April and May will be busy with massive Steelhead ascending the Muskegon River in droves to spawn. It’s a hectic, frantic time and we revel in the fact that these Steelhead will do whatever it takes to snatch a fly from the line. It’s truly some of the best Steelhead fishing in North America.

Over the next few months, you’ll be able to visibly see these trophies swim to their spawning destination. The best part, after the spawning takes place, the steelhead return to the lake and begin the process all over again. It’s hectic — Steelhead swim up the river to spawn and then head back to the lake for freedom.

As a premier steelhead guide on the Muskegon River, we’ve experienced unprecedented success. We know the spawning grounds, and we know where these monsters will be. Book your trip with us during this busy time for an experience that will match any guide in the Great Lakes region. Peak time rates begin in March and last through May. Choose from a full or half day trip and get out on the river with us and start catching monsters like these.
