Here’s Troy from Rockford, MI with some outstanding steelhead (especially for a guy who never caught a steelhead before) during his four-hour guided winter trip today.
Winter steelhead fishing is in full effect on the Muskegon river. Winter rates include 1-2 anglers fishing 4 to 5 hours during the warmest part of the day for $250. These steelhead trips are a great way to shake those winter blues, especially during the holidays. It’s that perfect gift or get away for when the kids come into town or if you just want to put a bend in the rod several times!
Winter conditions are perfect right now. The recent higher water and break in the air temperatures have made for some outstanding steelhead fishing now and in the weeks to come.
