Well we got that push of water but is now unfortunately starting to come down after a few days of lack of rain. Regardless, the peak of the steelhead run is in full force with steelhead positioned throughout the river in pockets. One day in one location and the next somewhere else. The key is knowing where to fish!
Special thanks to Todd who extended me the courtesy of letting me attend to a couple personal matters during his day today while fishing. Regardless, it didn’t seem to slow Todd down at all as he’s an excellent fly angler! Thanks Todd for your understanding!! Congrats on these beautiful steelhead brought to the boat and the ones that just didn’t want their picture taken!
