Here’s Ed from Hillsdale, MI with a steelhead so bright chrome it threw off my camera focus.
Ed with a small skipper from the Muskegon. These young steelhead are usually the precursor to a major push of fall steelhead on the way upriver.
Ed with a very healthy 20″ rainbow trout.
Water conditions are at a normal level for this time of year. Decent numbers of steelhead are scattered throughout the upper stretches of the Muskegon.
