Beautiful Fall Colors Only Big Muskegon River Browns Can Produce!
(Linda’s Beautiful Muskegon River Brown Trout Taken With a Dry Fly)

Please meet my new friends from west Michigan; Lisa on the right and her sister Linda holding the holy grail of the Muskegon river, a beautiful 19-inch brown trout sporting his beautiful fall colors!  And if I were to tell you Linda hooked, fought, and landed this big brown all from the comfort of the Captain’s chair would you believe me?  I’ll let Linda tell you!  Congrats on that beautiful brown Linda!!

(Linda’s Muskegon River Brown Trout)

Absolutely love this time of year.  Big salmon and fall steelhead are entering the river system, fall colors are starting to turn, and big browns are coming out of their summer hiding to gorge on caddis hatches throughout the river system!

Linda’s big brown absolutely smashed her dry fly drifting over the browns feeding lane.  Nothing better than experiencing a big fall Muskegon river brown sipping your dry fly top water.  To see the take, feel that first pull, and see this massive river brown explode out of the water with your dry fly lodged firmly in its jaw doesn’t get any better!  To me it’s the ultimate dry fly fishing experience only the Muskegon river can produce.

Linda had several chances with some absolute bruisers of Muskegon river browns actively feeding on caddis hatches throughout the river system.  Last night was some excellent dry fly fishing for some beautiful Muskegon River Brown trout!
