Fall steelhead are starting to reach the upper portions of the Muskegon river as the peak of the salmon run is in full swing. With record numbers of king salmon around not seen in years the fall steelhead are following suit up river in pursuit behind spawning salmon.
With lightning bolt strikes, acrobatic jumps, and drag screaming runs! Nothing beats the pure adrenaline rush of hooking and fighting a fall steelhead on the Muskegon river!
With the salmon run in full swing with numbers of salmon around not seen in a long time the fall steelhead are starting to show in upper stretches of the river making way for som fantastic fall steelhead fishing on the Muskegon river!
