Countdown To Kings

Muskegon River King Salmon

Dave with a nice Muskegon river king salmon

Here’s Dave with a one of the king salmon he hooked today.  Dave found out first hand how hard these Muskegon river kings fight on fly gear.  It’s one thing to hook a king; it’s by far another to land it.

Water temps are cooling below 63 bringing with it more salmon up the river system.   Water levels are very low at this time running 1,100 cfs.  Cooler water temps and much more needed rain will be a strong determining factor when the peak of the king salmon run will start in the coming weeks.

Following peak October dates available: 8,11,16,25,26.
