Here’s Todd from Indiana with an outstanding rainbow trout that took a gray drake pattern.
Caddis, sulphurs, BWO’s and gray drakes are present throughout the river system. Dry fly fishing for trout is doing very well as large size trout are starting to look up more than ever as the sucker spawn starts to draw to a close.
Water levels and temps are absolutely perfect. The trout fishing with dry flies on the Muskegon river has been absolutely incredible the past couple weeks. It’s really nice to see so many large size trout on the take with so many fly hatches going on right now.
