Here’s Mike from Indiana with a beautiful Muskegon river fall steelhead. Reminiscent of a summer run Skamania steelhead with its very long slender body and numerous acrobatic leaps out of the water Mike brought this fall steelhead to the boat.
The king salmon run is in full swing with incredible numbers not seen in 10 years on the Muskegon river. With the heavy concentration of king salmon throughout the river system has brought up very good numbers of fall steelhead. Look for the steelhead numbers to grow as we get later in October and the start of November. The stage is being set for an incredible fall steelhead run on the Muskegon river.
