Here she is, the “Queen of Chrome” hailing from Madison, WI holding this absolute wall-hanger Muskegon river steelhead!

Here’s the tale of the tape of Amy’s amazing 33-inch, 18 pound twisted chrome steelhead!

Great to have Amy back in the boat today! Feels like fishing with part of the family for me.

Here’s the Queens father with an absolute ass-kicker of a steelhead that brought Bob into the backing of his fly reel in seconds! Nothing beats the insane power these big game steelhead have!

Yeah its great having Bob and Amy back in the boat again. Both have supported me from the start and never gets old fishing with these two. Thank you guys for the time spent fishing and even better the memories landing so many world class steelhead over the years together!

Bob’s tale of the tape with this beautiful 33-inch+, 16 pound crystal chrome hen.

Amy’s fly fishing skills rival that of any other of the best anglers I’ve ever had the opportunity to guide for. Her technical ability to run precision drifts, hook sets, and casting perfection leads to the reason she hooks and lands so many of the largest steelhead I’ve ever seen and she’s been doing it for years on end! Great job Amy! You rock girl!!

Bob as well with a precision fly cast, drift, and hook set earns him another hard fought steelhead to the boat! Great job Bob!

Amy with another beautiful hen brought to the boat.

Here’s Bob with another beautiful hen brought to the boat.

You can’t help but laugh and smile when the fishing is good and your bringing nice steelheaad to the boat all day long!

Here she is again the Queen of Chrome getting the job done sporting a buck with his winter red coat!

Thanks again Bob and Amy for all the support over the years! Can’t tell you how fun and relaxing it is to fish with you guys. Feels like fishing with part of my family every time. Thank you!
The peak of the steelhead run is in full swing on the Muskegon River. Steelhead can be found in pockets throughout the Muskegon River with fresh steelhead migrating up the river system and hungry drop-back steelhead making their way back to Lake Michigan.
