With record numbers of salmon continuing to enter the river system the fall steelhead are not to far away in and around the salmon beds gorging on dislodged salmon eggs.
The king salmon run is in full swing on the Muskegon river. With a delayed start due to warm weather and low water is extending the salmon run on the Muskegon as hundreds of new salmon keep coming up river along with fall steelhead and large rainbow and brown trout. Good things are yet to come! Great time to fish the Muskegon river!
