Keeping it all in the family here’s my new friends from Indiana and Michigan who came to spend a beautiful half day with me this past Saturday in search of the Muskegon River Crowned Jewel…Steelhead!
And find it they did with several nice attempts at some great fish including several large size trout and a very big steelhead that will leave a lasting impression on them for a very long time. Thanks for the trips guys! Welcome to my steelhead addiction!
Water levels are on the rise as springs thaw starts to produce run-off from the North. Steelhead are on the move as the days get longer and the air and water gets warmer. Great start to the spring steelhead run!
