Here’s me with an absolute monster steelhead from the Muskegon River. Fresh fish continue to enter the river system as longer days and warmer nights are turning the bite on big time!

Another big beautiful hen from the Muskegon. “Fish the soft pockets” seemed to have paid off big time during the few hours of steelhead fishing this morning.
Another tale of the tape from a day where “the stars were aligned” and couldn’t do no any wrong at any of the spots fished.
Water conditions are excellent with clear visibility and normal flows for this time of year. Steelhead are scattered throughout the river system with several fish on the move as the water temps start warming and their biological clocks start ticking for the spring run! Great sign of things to come!!
