Happy mothers day Karen!!! Scott and his wife Karen came out today to spend mothers day in style…….fly fishing for steelhead on the Muskegon River in Michigan. Karen and Scott did an excellent job putting up with all the fun mother nature Michigan can give. Sun while snowing, wind while sleeting, & blue skies with gale force wind gusts. Despite the conditions, Scott and Karen put fish in the boat, including Scott’s 10lb silver bullet Karen had on twice in three casts before Scott hooked him on the last cast of the day. Scott happened to be the “lucky lander” after a 20 minute fight bringing us a quarter mile down stream to the net. Here’s a few of many hook ups today. Great job today guys! I had a great time watching the excitement in your eyes when these awesome game fish struck.
