Double Stripe Bucks & 19″ Bows!

Ted & Julie pictured with a massive double stripe spring steelhead.

Ted and Julie had a great day on the Muskegon River with a really good number of hook ups and some outstanding steelhead and rainbow trout brought to the boat.

Muskegon River sunrise at its best!

Conditions are changing (for the better) rapidly on the Muskegon with the recent large push of water.  4300 cfs to start the day and 5300 cfs and rising to the end the day.  With this large push of water more steelhead should enter the river system.  Water temps are still on the cool side hovering around the 40 degree point.  Look for the warm weather the next few days to warm the water temps and improve the steelhead fishing well into May.
