Mike holding some really nice steelhead that made the net on a cold, windy, wet, mid-May day.
The recent high waters have brought a fresh batch of steelhead up the river system. Pockets of fresh steelhead are available in select areas. Water levels and clarity are perfect right now rising to 3400 cfs today with a nice light stain. Caddis & brown mayflies have started to hatch. The gray drake hatch is right around the corner offering some of the best dry fly trout fishing of the year on the Muskegon.
