Here’s Connor from northern California with a nice brown trout that absolutely smashed a streamer pattern during the start of a rain shower.
Connor with another beautiful brown trout during the rain. Although the mid-afternoon rain shower wasn’t very pleasant to fish through; it turned the bite on like crazy with these brown trout going into an absolute feeding frenzy throughout the day! Incredible bite!!
Not to be out done, here’s Connors dad Tom from Ann Arbor, MI with a nice brown trout that smashed his fly at the end of the swing.
The rain subsided into the evening opening up to some excellent dry fly fishing with trout rising to flies top water throughout several locations of the river system.
