Here’s Eric again with a hard fighting steelhead that just didn’t want to see the net or have its picture taken.

Don’t let the size fool you, this “Super Skipper” (Juvenile steelhead over 15-inches) fought like crazy. Pound for pound these juvenile steelhead fight incredibly hard!

Here’s Eric getting the job done bringing this winter hold over steelhead to the boat! Great job Eric! Your steelhead fishing skills have improved so much over the years! Great job today my friend, was fun to watch you in action battling these awesome hard fighting steelhead!

Here’s Ed from Hillsdale, MI starting off the day with a massive 16-pound buck! Great job Ed!
The steelhead run is starting to slow down as water levels have dropped and the majority of steelhead have made their way back to Lake Michigan. Late run steelhead trickle in found in pockets throughout the river system.
But, as one door closes the other opens as we start to put down the steelhead rods down and pick up the dry fly and streamer trout rods as our main focus will be trout in the weeks to come in anticipation of the beloved Gray Drake Hatch just weeks away!
