The Mighty MO / Muskegon River Flexes Its Steelhead Muscle Again!
(17lbs, 33-Inches of Twisted Crimson Red Steel!)

What makes the Muskegon River such a World-Class steelhead river?  The fact that any given moment the Muskegon can produce steelhead of a lifetime over and over again every year!

(Tale of the Tape!)

Not only the size, but the sheer volume / quantity of these magnificent Muskegon River steelhead that migrate up the river system year after year is absolutely amazing!

(Beautiful chromed out hen!)

And when you come to realize over 50% of these Muskegon River steelhead are naturally reproduced in the river system, you start to realize why the Muskegon is such a World-Class steelhead river.

(Gorgeous translucent pink stripe chrome hen!)

Amazing to me when I started fishing winter steelhead on the Muskegon more than 25 years ago I had no idea how good the steelhead fishing really can be on the Muskegon.

(Chromed out fresh Buck!)

When you have an opportunity to not only hook, but let alone land 7 out of 7 trophy size steelhead within 4 hours of fishing in the dead of winter you start to realize how good of a steelhead river the Muskegon really is.

(Muskegon River Silver Bullet!)

Time after time, year after year the Mighty MO flexes its muscle to prove it’s a World-Class steelhead river!

(Another beautiful chromed out healthy hen!)

If you don’t believe me please enjoy the photos of what I like to call the “Mighty MO best 7 of 7.”  All these incredible steelhead landed within four hours of fishing the MO including a 33-inch, 17lb buck pictured up top.

(This incredible girl has been eating very well!)

I’m not claiming to be any steelhead genius, but I am here to tell you the Mighty MO is a World-Class steelhead river!  With over 25 years steelhead fishing the Muskegon River exclusively, I’ve come to truly understand just how special of a steelhead river the Muskegon really is.

Fresh steelhead continue to migrate up the river system with the recent push of water.  Amazing how every push of water brings more steelhead up the river system instantly.
