Here’s my younger brother Ben from La Crosse, WI. Ben is an excellent trout angler successfully fishing the Driftless area of Wisconsin for years. Ben has sent me endless photos of monster brown trout he’s caught fishing Wisconsin and surrounding area small creeks and streams.

Fishing conditions continue to be extremely good! Steelhead are scattered throughout the river system with new steelhead taking positions as the females start to drop back to Lake Michigan. With the prolonged cold start to the spring run and excellent flows, the Month of May will provide some excellent steelhead fishing on the Muskegon.
