Here’s Jim from Illinois with his first ever Muskegon river fall steelhead. Nothing beats hooking and landing your first fall steelhead and Jim’s was a beauty. Crystal chrome silver bullet! Congrats Jim!!
Despite the low clear water with direct sunlight, fresh salmon continue to get up on gravel daily in new spots throughout the river system bringing along with it fresh fall steelhead and very large size trout feeding in and around these salmon bedding areas making for some excellent fall fly fishing on the Muskegon river.
