Here’s my good friend John from the Chicago area with the best of the day. This steelhead smashed the fly from the initial strike and took off like a bat out of hell! Awesome fight!

These two massive steelhead John landed almost look like the same fish until you notice the very distinct black spot located under the crimson red stripe (mid-section right) on this big steelhead’s flank. Great job John! Beautiful fish!
