Herb (pictured top) from Grand Rapids and Ed (in yellow) from Hillsdale, MI with some beautiful fall steelhead from the Muskegon river. Despite the Packers hat, Herb got the job done today with several attempts at some great fall steelhead including the one pictured top.
Water levels are on the low side holding around 1500 cfs. Decent numbers of steelhead are in the river system now but more rain would sure help bring more steelhead up the river system as the water temps are dropping nicely to the low 50 degree point.
Steelhead will start to be our main focus moving forward as we reach the near end of the king salmon run on the Muskegon.
