Darren’s first ever steelhead just happened to be well over 30-inches. Not bad for the first ever steelhead taken with a fly rod. Well done Darren!
Cooling temps are starting to prevail as the water temps start to dip down below the 50 degree mark. Good numbers of steelhead are scattered throughout the upper stretches of the river system and water conditions are perfect for fall steelhead.
