New steelhead continue to enter the river system as the daylight shortens with the time change and colder nights mixed with precipitation is finally raising the water levels triggering fresh steelhead to migrate up river!
Please meet my new friends from Fort Worth, Texas from left to right; Scott (a.k.a Dad), Alden, and brother McClendon helping Alden celebrate his very first ever Muskegon River steelhead.
The guys made a road trip all the way from Fort Worth, Texas to visit friends and family in the Grand Rapids, MI area and decided to book a steelhead trip in between visiting friends and doing some deer hunting.
Alden, Scott, and McClendon had some nice chances at some great fall steelhead on the Muskegon today. All of them picked up the technique quickly executing great drifts and hook-sets. Excellent anglers!
