Here’s Bobby from Michigan with a beautifully chromed out Muskegon river steelhead! With this years El-Nino in full effect, it hardly feels like winter steelheading with way above average water and air temperatures. Sure makes for some very comfortable winter steelhead fishing.
Bob with another really nice steelhead brought to the net! With only a few hours of fishing today we had some nice opportunities to bring some great steelhead to the boat.
Water levels are perfect and the water temps actually came up a little bit today into the low 40’s. Colder weather mixed with rain in the forecast will bring more steelhead up river and shuffle the deck adding fresh chrome to the mix in various winter lies.
