Here’s Jim from Ft. Wayne, IN with a big & beautiful naturally reproduced Muskegon river rainbow trout!
Jim with one of several nice brown trout brought to the boat throughout the day. From the beginning of September to now, the trout fishing on the Muskegon river has been incredible. Never seen so many big trout with such an aggressive bite starting late summer this year leading up to now. Never had so many opportunities at really nice browns and rainbows like this so consistently throughout the season in a very long time. The trout bite is on fire now and never slowed down since early September.
Here’s Jim with another really nice brown trout. Caddis dry fly, C&D egg flies, swinging streamers, float rods with nymph indicators; all these techniques have produced more large size brown and rainbow trout this year, more so than years past fishing the Muskegon. The trout bite has been and remains insane on the Muskegon right now!
