Bad To The Brown!

Bad To The Brown!
(John’s Muskegon River Brown Trout)

Here’s John from Chicago again with yet another fall jewel from the Muskegon river, the beautifully fall colored Muskegon river brown trout!  Congrats on the brown John!

(Tale of the Tape)

John’s beautifully colored brown trout was gorging on eggs behind the salmon beds.

Not uncommon to hook massive browns and rainbow trout behind the salmon beds gorging on displaced salmon eggs.  John’s brown trout is proof.

The king salmon run is in full swing on the Muskegon with numbers of kings not seen in over ten years.  With all these kings spawning the large rainbow and brown trout are feeding heavily behind the salmon beds.  Not to mention the more king salmon come up river the more fall steelhead follow!  Excellent time to fish the Muskegon river!
