I’ve been fishing / guiding exclusively on the Muskegon River all year long for well over 20 years. In that time, I’ve seen many large size river browns but nothing compares to the beauty of this brown! I’m extremely proud and humbled to introduce my great friend and fishing client Greg from Big Rapids, MI with what can only be described as one of the most beautiful river browns I have ever seen. Congratulations Greg on a fish of a lifetime. I’m absolutely honored to have been a part of it.
Clients ask me If I guide on any other rivers. My response has always been the same. Only the Muskegon River every year all year long. I’ve never had a reason to guide anywhere else for the simple fact the Muskegon River produces some of the biggest and best fresh water big game fish bar none and Gregs river brown is the best example of what makes the Muskegon River so special.
Whether it be river browns, rainbow trout, lake run browns, king salmon, or steelhead; over the years if you could see the size and quantity of these fish you would understand why the Muskegon River is such a special place and remains one of the best fresh water big game rivers in the world.
