Here’s Nick from Chicago with what started out as a first time dry fly casting instructional course and turned into a dry fly casting clinic put on by Nick as he picked up the fly casting quickly with no problem and was rewarded with this nice rainbow trout that absolutely smashed his dry fly. Great job Nick!
Water levels although still high for this time of year are getting back down to very fishable levels holding around 3000 cfs. Drakes and large caddis flies seem to be the most available as the warmer evenings are helping more trout to look up and more flies to hatch.
