Sweet Chrome Of Mine!

Sweet Chrome Of Mine!
(Me with a beautiful Muskegon River Steelhead)

I can’t even begin to tell you how good it was to finally have a few hours to fish for myself as it’s been a great fall (fishing wise) this year as we brought several outstanding salmon, steelhead, and trout to the boat with so many great memories to share with so many longtime customers.

I have a lot to be thankful for this year guiding on the Muskegon but nothing compares to the continued support of my longtime clients who have supported me year after year. You all have become great friends of mine and feels like you all are an extended part of my family. Thank you so much for your continued support!

Steelhead fishing continues to improve. December is traditionally that time of year when the fishing pressure starts to subside and the pushes of water bring more fresh steelhead and lake run browns up the river system. In years past December has offered some excellent steelhead fishing as a result.

So now is the time to shake those winter blues and get a line wet with a steelhead on the other end. Winter rates of $275 (1 to 2 anglers with four hours of fishing) are in place. Heaters are always available in the boat and we only fish during the warmest part of the day. Winter steelhead trips are a great way to spend the day on one of Michigan’s premier steelhead rivers.
