Stripping Streamers For Browns!

Stripping Streamers For Browns!

Here’s John from Chicago with a nice brown that took a salmon fry pattern on the swing.

Trout season is off to high water start!  4,000 cfs and rising was the theme of the day as the high flows on the Muskegon just wont stop.

These high flows are good for the wet flies, but we need the water levels to recede to make the dry flies more effective.  Gray Drakes and Caddis flies are starting but with these high flows the trout have a hard time looking up to see them.

Look for the water levels to drop as we head into next week, which will greatly improve the dry fly fishing in the days to come.
